Hi, I’m Allison!

I'm a Seattle-based product designer currently working at Amazon. Before that, I spent 2 years at Fred Hutch and 5 years at Mayo Clinic making products for patients, healthcare providers, and biomedical researchers. I'm passionate about accessible, inclusive, and ethical design.

I have a grab bag of skills that I've gained from working on small, scrappy design teams. Things I do well include: user experience design, user interface design, information architecture, whiteboarding, rapid prototyping, writing user interview guides, conducting user interviews, running focus groups, maintaining design intent during the development process, and documenting design decisions.

When I'm not at work, you can find me hiking with my dog, standing in line for limited-edition pastries, reading long-form investigative journalism, and attempting DIY home improvement projects.
