Albertsons Companies is a large grocery retailer and pharmacy services provider. It has over 2,000 stores across thirty four states. These stores include over a dozen regional banners, most notably Albertsons, Safeway, and Jewel Osco. Each banner has a corresponding mobile app that customers can use to order groceries and prescription medication. There are 10 million active monthly app visitors across all banners.
Sincerely Health digital product team
In 2023, Albertsons merged its grocery app and pharmacy app into a unified mobile app. With this update, pharmacy features were expanded to include health and wellness all existing under the umbrella of the new Sincerely Health brand. The Sincerely Health digital product team is organized by feature. I lead UX of nutrition features, working in close collaboration with product management and business leaders.
Nutrition features are a major component of Sincerely Health. The core question the nutrition team works on is How do we encourage customers to purchase healthier groceries online?
Personalization
What can we build to make shoppers feel heard and make the shopping experience feel customized?

Education
What features can we build to teach customers evidence-based nutrition information and guide them toward healthier choices?
